New Honorary President of the Romanian Association for Baltic and Nordic Studies

The Romanian Association for Baltic and Nordic Studies is delighted to inform that the Estonian Ambassador to Romania, Her Excellency Ms. Ingrid Kressel, has accepted the nomination for Honorary President. Since August 27, 2019, when she handed her credentials to the President of Romania, Her Excellency is officially Ambassador to Romania.

„Ambassador Ingrid Kressel Vinciguerra was born in Tallinn on 22 November 1973. She has graduated from the School of Law of the University of Tartu and has a postgraduate degree in the field of European Studies from the College of Europe in Natolin. Kressel Vinciguerra has worked at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 1998. She has been the Director of the South-Eastern European and EU Division, Director of the International Organisations Division, and Desk Officer at the Human Rights Division. She has also represented Estonia as a political affairs diplomat in Geneva to the United Nations and other organisations and in Brussels at Estonia’s Permanent Representation to the European Union regarding South-Eastern European and EU enlargement affairs.
In addition to Romania, Kressel Vinciguerra has also been appointed as the Estonian Ambassador to Bulgaria and Moldova.”
